The Arizona volleyball team did it again, confirming defending champions Stanford on Friday night with a 4-set win on Sunday (27-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-13) to complete the series sweep, UAs first vs. the cardinal since 2005

The first three sets were fiercely contested The Cats came back late to win the first set 27:25, then took a 2-0 lead 25:17 in the second set Stanford came back by a fourth set with a 25:21 win in the third in which the Cats decisively won 25-13 to seal the victory and secure the weekend sweep
Junior mid-blocker Zyonna Fellows had the best match of her career, taking only 13 clear swings to get her top 10 career kills (769) She added three blocks to UA’s other center, freshman China Rai Crouch, was also fantastic for UA He led the team by five blocks and added five kills hitting 444
Freshmen outside of batsman Sofia Maldonado Diaz led Arizona again with 15 kills and almost got their second double-double. The newcomer had nine digs
Sophomore libero Kamaile Hiapo had her best match of the young season, leading the team with a season high of 17 digs and one of UA’s seven aces Digs) and Paige Whipple added 10 digs to keep up with her seven kills
After two weeks at home, the cats will now be out and about in Oregon for the coming weekend. The wildcats and ducks will meet on Friday and Sunday in EugeneMATCH LEADERS
