Will WandaVision have its own “Luke Skywalker” moment?

Kat Dennings from WandaVision opens a Darcy who has never been seen before

WandaVision’s most recent outing finally answered some of our burning questions … and then quickly brought up another important question

In episode 4, which revealed how SW.ÖRD. and other agencies outside take care of what happens in Westview Darcy Lewis and Jimmy Woo noted an odd censorship of the Wanda and Vision sitcom: For example, when Jimmy tried to contact Wanda on a swim club radio on the Adorable episode – What We Know Dottie cut her hand on broken glass – the episode Darcy was watching jumped a few seconds ahead, completely skipping the radio incident

Discussing this strange twist with TVLine, showrunner Jac Schaeffer admits that there’s so much in the Westview bubble that we don’t understand what’s going on, although Schaeffer can’t pinpoint what or who is behind the censored moments of the Sitcom is stuck, she confirms we will get more responses as the season progresses

“The next few episodes will clarify a little more about this situation as we go on,” she suggests

* Though episode 4 almost completely overridden Wanda and Vision’s sitcom existence, Schaeffer says the series will “absolutely return” to the Westview we saw and put together “what [Wanda and Visions] Journey for the rest of the time is show ”

* Based on a threatening teaser by star Paul Bettany, who indicated to TVLine that “couples are not necessarily so fond of more modern sitcoms,” Schaeffer warns of “complicated times” for the title couple “[viewer] invested so much in Wanda and Vision and in their love story and marriage in this city, “she explains.” And like with all marriages … there is a disagreement and that was always something that really interested me about this show – the domestic one Image of the two and the authenticity in this room ”

* After seeing an overwhelmingly positive response to Darcy and Jimmy’s relationship, Schaeffer points to an “organic” evolution of their working relationship over the course of the show. “[In script] we don’t really emphasize the fact that they click and immediately Become a buddy but people really seem to jump over it, and I love them together, “she says

Although Schaeffer admits that the astrophysicist and FBI agent are “consistently underrated” in the workplace, “they see themselves mostly as good at their jobs and as professional, talented, and good people. We always hoped that they would align very quickly ”(With reporting from Keisha Hatchett)
