Four teenagers were arrested in Washington, DC for carjacking after a similar incident earlier resulted in the death of an Uber Eats driver this week, police said

In a potentially disturbing trend, police officers beat two 13-year-old boys for two consecutive armed carjackings on Saturday – just days after two teenage girls were charged with the murder of the Uber driver, the Metropolitan, Police Department said in a press release

During the first jacking up, one of the teenagers allegedly whipped a gun and demanded that a victim get out of the car – before he turned around 1910 o’clock in the journey flees on Friday according to the police

A little over an hour later, the same teens reportedly struck again and moved at 2040 o’clock the same train in a nearby northwestern part of the city, according to the police

According to the police, two different boys aged 13 and 14 were arrested on Thursday in the city for armed carjacking

In this case, one of the thieves opened a car door and attacked a victim while another pulled a knife, the police said cops said they tracked the teenagers and recovered the vehicle

On Wednesday, two teenage girls were charged with murder for ruthlessly killing an Uber Eats driver whom they allegedly stun gun while another carjacking in the district

The girls, aged 13 and 15, are accused of assaulting 66-year-old driver Mohammad Anwar who was driving near Nationals Park in the southeast of the city

It’s not clear why the girls targeted Anwar, who picked them up at Navy Yard Subway Station around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday
