One of the most interesting teams in this year’s ’68 field is Tennessee Basketball The Volunteers came as a preseason pick this season to win the SEC, but while they didn’t exactly live up to that expectation in the regular season, Tennessee has it all Required for an Intense Run in the NCAA Tournament

Tennessee comes into the NCAA tournament with an overall record of 18-8 and a fourth place on the SEC at 10-7. The volunteers averaged 725 PPG as a team at 443% shoot and show the # 4 defense in the country at just 632 PPG to opponents this season Tennessee is also the No. 13 in the NET leaderboard with an impressive 6 Quad-1 wins this year

The volunteers raised the 5-seed in the Midwest region where they will compete against the 12-seed Pac-12 Tournament Champions Oregon State. The beavers sometimes struggle to score offensively, only averaging 707 PPG and having one too worst defenses of 64 remaining teams As expected, Tennessee deserves to be a big favorite in this game of 64 Plain and simple, Oregon State can’t keep up with the volunteers

Tennessee has a nice mix of seasoned veterans and some highly acclaimed newbies and younger players. The volunteers have seven players averaging 8 PPG and are led by star newbies Jaden Springer and Keon Johnson.Tennessee also has one of the best pure defenders in college -Basketball in senior striker Yves Pons

A big question for Tennessee, however, is the availability of senior striker John Fulkerson, who sustained an injury in the SEC tournament quarterfinals, averaging 95 PPG and 55 RPG while arguably the heart and soul of the Tennessee volunteers lost his only game since Fulkerson’s injury, a 73-68 defeat by Alabama in the SEC tournament semifinals, and it will be important that the volunteer NCAA tournament’s odds for other players increase in his absence

In particular, let’s look at three players Tennessee will need to reinforce in the NCAA tournament to potentially replace the injured John Fulkerson
