The Marquette basketball team wore black uniforms for Tuesday night’s home game against UConn in support of Jacob Blake, the black man who was shot dead by a police officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin that summer, and it was announced Tuesday that no charges were made against the cop who shot Blake is raised

The move was supported by Marquette’s most famous former player when legendary former Golden Eagle guard Dwyane Wade tweeted his approval for the move, “We are Marquette,” Wade wrote along with a fist emoji

Kenosha policeman Rusten Sheskey reportedly fired his gun seven times when Blake died on Jan. August attempted to get into an SUV with his three young children in the back seat, CBS News reported, according to investigators, a knife was found in the vehicle, although Blake’s family has denied that he was armed, Blake was waist down after the incident paralyzed
