The Meteorological Service updated and expanded the winter weather warnings in Upstate New York on Wednesday, issuing winter storm warnings for much of the southern plains and the Adirondacks due to the shift of a coastal storm westward in some parts seeing rates in excess of 4 inches per hour overnight which made driving almost impossible
