Officials said the three wounded agents were transported to hospitals and have been in a stable condition since then. Authorities have not released the names of the agents killed in the Tuesday morning shootings

The incident began when authorities went to a house at 10100 Reflections Boulevard to execute a federal search warrant relating to an investigation into violent crimes against children

“First, I just want to express our condolences,” DeSantis said at a press conference Tuesday morning. “We had what we believe three FBI agents were killed on an arrest warrant in Sunrise, Fla. We are still getting more information about what happened and we will have more to say at a later date ”

Police told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that two agents were wounded around 6 a.m. while trying to serve an arrest warrant at 10100 Reflections Boulevard West, The Miami Herald reported a man suspected of possessing child pornography barricaded himself in the apartment
