Rodney Hudson is a free agent, and KC Chiefs fans want him back with the team that designed him

The Raiders made the strange decision to release the Rodney Hudson launch center, and of course the Kansas City Chiefs fans are keen to sign Hudson for those who might be new to Chiefs Kingdom, Hudson played for Kansas for four years City after the team made a second choice for him in 2011

After showing that he was one of the best centers in football, Hudson brought his talents to the Raiders, where he continued to shine as a starting center He spent six years in silver and black and is now back in the market

Chiefs fans were baffled that Hudson had left to play in Oakland, but the Raiders had a lot of money in the off-season while Kansas City didn’t for Hudson, the money made sense at this point in his career to hunt

The #Raiders release Pro Bowl Center Rodney Hudson, a source, a surprise in Las Vegas when their O-Line receives an almost complete facelift

Now he should be trying to chase a ring, however, and the best way to do it is with the Kansas City Chiefs who happen to need a launch center, and Austin Reiter probably won’t be returning So if you go to Hudson this is sure to sustain an emergency

The Chiefs have already signed Joe Thuney to fill their left sentry post on the O-Line But can you imagine how much better this group would be with both Thuney and Hudson? Patrick Mahomes would feel a lot safer if the ball snapped at him

As soon as the news of Hudson’s release appeared in the news cycle, Chiefs fans immediately hit social media asking their team to sign the permanent center, and my two favorite tweets are from BJ Kissel, the former Chiefs reporter, and Matt Verderame from FanSided

At this point the Chiefs should just bet on YOLO and sign Hudson and Williams. Nobody would touch Mahomes all year

Yes it would be FANTASTIC to include both Hudson and Trent Williams, but the Chiefs couldn’t afford to do it while at the same time paying Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Frank Clark and Travis Kelce their contracts and trying to Renew Bully Mathieu I know Brett Veach is a wizard, but Williams will cost at least $ 20 million a year

Hudson, on the other hand, is likely a realistic acquisition. He turns 32 in July and knows he is in the final leg of his career. Would that be enough for him to turn down more money and sign up to the Super Bowl favorite?
