Sam Neill thinks Jurassic Park III is a hell of a good sequel to at least the last ten minutes

Jurassic Park III didn’t quite achieve the same level of success as its predecessors, but star Sam Neill thinks the sequel tends to be underrated. After we’d sat out the second part, we last saw Neill in the role of Dr Alan Grant in 1999, when Jurassic Park III was released.Over two decades later, he will repeat the role for the upcoming sequel Jurassic World: Dominion

While Jurassic Park III appears to be the least popular episode in the entire film franchise, Sam Neill looks back on the sequel much more fondly than many.In fact, Neill even loves the controversial scene of a velociraptor starring Dr Grant in a dream, and his only real concern with the movie is that the ending feels a bit rushed. When speaking of Jurassic Park III in a new interview with Collider, Neill said this when he after his initial reaction to reading the infamous raptor scene in Jurassic Park III was asked

In the interview, Neill also explains how he felt while playing Dr Grant in the third film than in the original, as playing an action hero wasn’t a given for him. As Neill explains:

Jurassic World: Dominion is expected to be released on Jan. Released June 2022 by Universal Pictures In addition to Neill, the sequel also returns Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum as Doctors Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm. Franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are also returning Colin Trevorrow with a script co-directed with Emily Carmichael was written

Meanwhile, Neill can be seen in his next lead role in Rams, directed by Jeremy Sims, and the film follows Neill and Michael Caton as two estranged brothers who raise separate flocks of sheep who must put their differences aside to get their families back Merge and Save the Herd Initial reviews have been very strong and the film is set to be released on VOD platforms on Friday Feb. 5 This message comes to us from Collider
