Everything you need to know about Ranvir Singh, the Good Morning UK host putting on her dance shoes for Strictly 2020

The 18th Strictly Come Dancing series is well underway and one of the celebs returning to the dance floor this weekend is Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh

The TV host was back in great shape in week five after a minor disappointment last week Their Argentine tango sent their joint second place in the Strictly Come Dancing ranking

Ranvir and her professional dance partner Giovanni danced to Prince’s When Doves Cry, and the Strictly Come Dancing judges were very polite to the performance, awarding it 27 points – including a perfect 10 from Anton du Beke

The popular host also reported that the “very intimate” dances were “a bit of getting used to” – claiming that she was initially quite embarrassed to do some of the routines

Ranvir is one of the most famous presenters of ITV In addition to making regular appearances on Good Morning Britain, he also works as a newscaster for ITV News and anchor for ITV’s Tonight

She has also hosted a number of primetime in-kind shows, including Real Stories with Ranvir Singh, The Martin Lewis Money Show, and Eat, Shop, Save, while recently appearing as a panel member on Loose Women

She is the latest in a long line of Good Morning Britain presenters to be on the series, led by colleagues such as Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold to whom she will seek advice

Ranvir’s Strictly journey started off pretty smoothly as she scored 21 points for her Paso Doble by the end of Beyoncé’s time in Week 1 and 21 points on Stevie Wonder’s Quickstep to You Are The Sunshine Of My Life by Stevie Wonder the following week

The journalist also got a pretty high score from Dreamgirls during film week for her Foxtrot to Love You I Do

Unfortunately, Ranvir’s Cha Cha couldn’t quite keep up with her foxtrot in week four and threw her back, but in week five she was back in shape and scored 27 points for her Americamn Tango to finish second in the rankings together

The presenter was previously warned by her GMB co-stars about how tough the competition can get, especially Susanna Reid

Speaking to the press, including RadioTimescom, Ranvir said, “Susanna keeps telling me in a really reasonable tone,” Ranvir, you have no idea what’s going to happen “She says,” You have no idea and it’s how a whirlwind ‘”

She said, “The initial feeling of being validated for Strictly is a feeling of utter terror – it feels like you’re riding a roller coaster where you really want to, but you’re also scared, hopefully I feel after the first dance I’m more excited than sick! “Speaking of the coworkers who took to the Strictly dance floor earlier, she added,” I have to pick your brain out, I’m worried about energy levels. “I’ve been working throughout the pandemic so I feel like I do should have all the answers ”
