This morning, before they even opened, huge lines formed in front of the shops and people were dying to get their hands on discounted products
Outside the Metquarter, shoppers stood down the street toward Jollibee while they waited for Cricket to open its doors
In Liverpool’s huge Lush shop, shoppers also stood in a long line that stretched along Church Alley and around the corner towards Next
Lush is offering shoppers up to 50% off its Boxing Day offer, including holiday items and gift sets, as well as seasonal items such as soap, shower items, fragrance, skin care, and hair care products
Shoppers waiting to visit Pandora’s Liverpool ONE store also had to wait a bit, as did those taking a trip to Zara Overall at 10am on the morning of Boxing Day at 30pm, Liverpool city center was quieter than in previous years, and the buyers weren’t there yet
Boxing Day is undoubtedly different in Liverpool this year The metropolitan area is currently subject to Tier 2 lockdown restrictions, and many are choosing not to visit or be unable to visit stores
