HOLLY Willoughby burst into tears at Phillip Schofield’s incredible behind-the-scenes birthday surprise at This Morning

The TV favorite turned 40 today – which can be a shock for some fans, as she has hardly changed since she was 20s

The mom of three is facing a big blowout bash this morning and it looks like her ITV family has started the behind the scenes celebrations

58-year-old co-host Phillip Schofield gave fans a glimpse into the birthday boy who arrived at the studio

He said: “The birthday boy is coming soon, everything is ready. She doesn’t know anything about it”

Phil showed off the incredible celebrations, including hundreds of balloons and a giant 40 Illuminated sign

Holly was speechless when she spotted the crew from This Morning lining up the corridor singing Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday

The beauty of the television was overwhelmed by the sweet gesture and began to tear up

The star wore black flared pants and a black puffer jacket and said, “Thank you, I’ll just walk in here and cry”

The host of Dancing on Ice burst into tears and said, “I will be in tears all day”

An astonished viewer repeated the thoughts of many when they were amazed on Twitter: “There’s no way Holly is 40!”

Phil also posted a cute black and white throwback with his co-star and wrote next to the snapshot: “Happy birthday, beautiful xxx”

In 2006, her star was on the rise, and Holly was selected to host the station’s new show Dancing On Ice to garner some of the success the BBC has had with Strictly Come Dancing

So successful was the partnership with ITV veteran Phillip Schofield that she was selected to replace Fern Britton to host This Morning alongside him in 2009

Together they became one of the most enduring partnerships on television with her and Phil, 58, both of whom are not quite her age
