A 56-year-old plastic surgeon and former general election candidate has been charged with attempted murder and attempted arson to endanger life
This is followed by the sting of 65-year-old Graeme Perks, a retired plastic surgeon who is still fighting for his life after breaking into his home last week
Mr. Perks was injured in the abdomen and chest during the ordeal in Halam Hill, Halam, shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday, Jan. January, 3 p.m.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen’s Medical Center for surgery, where he is still in severe condition
Jonathan Peter Brooks of Landseer Road in Southwell has been charged with attempted murder and three attempted arson to endanger life and possessing a knife in a public place after an investigation by Nottinghamshire Police Department
He was charged and remanded last night to order this morning (Jan. January) to appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court
Brooks was an election agent for Chantal Lee in the 2017 general election and was an NHS whistleblower who worked at Nottingham University hospitals
He worked for Medicine St Frontiers in Haiti and Gaza and made a failed attempt to get elected to Southwell Town Council for Labor
Detective Inspector Gayle Hart, who is leading the investigation, said, “Our investigation into this case has led us to indict a man. We’re not looking for anyone in connection with this investigation
“The victim is still in intensive care and is still in a serious but stable condition. Our thoughts are with his family at this time
