Former Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will move to financial advisor Robey Warshaw in early April, the company announced

Mr. Osborne will be stepping down as editor-in-chief of the London Evening Standard newspaper and senior advisor to investment firm Blackrock at the end of March

Robey Warshaw, founded in 2013, said the former Tory MP would bring “differentiated experience and expertise” to his role as a partner and “greatly improve the advice we give our clients”

Mr. Osborne said he was “proud” to join what he described as “the best of the best”

Mr Osborne was a Member of Parliament from 2001 to 2017 and Chancellor from 2010 to 2016

As of 2017, he was editor of the Evening Standard before becoming editor-in-chief and senior advisor to the Blackrock Investment Institute in 2020
