The New Year Honors List recognizes the achievements of a wide variety of exceptional people across the UK

On Thursday the 31st December, 2021 New Years Honor Roll, released, shows the incredible efforts of hundreds of public sector and community workers in 2020 and beyond

The New Years Honor Roll is the most racially diverse roll of honor at 14, 2% of recipients are from Black, Asian, or ethnic background

In a year when the determination and determination of those on the front lines has been tested, the New Years Honor Roll includes 1239 recipients recognized for their exceptional contributions in all four UK countries

Actress Sheila Hancock receives condemnation for services to drama and charity, as does conductor and musicologist Professor Jane Glover for services to music and make-up artist Patricia McGrath for services to fashion, the beauty industry and diversity

Angela Eagle MP will also be awarded a Ladies Hood for Parliamentary and Political Service. The Right Honorable Geoffrey Cox QC MP and Thomas Clarke MP will receive chivalry for parliamentary and political service and for public and political service

In a year where so many sacrifices have been made to protect our NHS and save people’s lives, the outstanding efforts of those receiving honors today are a welcome reminder of the strength of the human spirit and of that which can be achieved through courage and compassion
