The opening times of the supermarkets are different this week due to public holidays, Christmas and New Year
Christmas week is just around the corner and stores are starting to close or at least shorten their opening hours for the festive season
So if you don’t already have everything you need for Christmas dinner, it’s important to check carefully when your local supermarket opens
This year, many stores don’t open at all on Boxing Day – although don’t forget that smaller stores like Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s Local are open
Here are all opening times for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day after the Liverpool Echo

Wednesday, 30 December: Normal opening hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (shops on the M25 open until 8 p.m.)

Monday, 21 December – Wednesday 23 December: shops on Hauptstraße from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Retail parks 6 am to midnight
Tuesday, 29 December – Wednesday 30 December: Main streets 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., retail parks 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. / 9 p.m.
Asda stores have mostly the same opening hours, but close early Christmas Eve and stay closed on Boxing Day and Boxing Day, the retailer has yet to confirm opening times for the New Year Here you can check the details of the local stores
