TYSON FURY gave a worrying interview with Anthony Joshua in which he poured cold water on his potential undisputed heavyweight contestant

The Gypsy King has been silent while his own promoter Bob Arum, AJ’s matchmaker Eddie Hearn, and Joshua himself have alluded to a big announcement for a clash in Saudi Arabia in June

Hearn even sold British fans the dream of the second leg of the one-on-one rivalry in a crowded Wembley stadium after the bans were lifted

But Fury, who claims he would drink and not eat up to 12 pints a day, says he will NEVER fight in the UK again and the AJ fight is way off schedule

Fury, who is used to cheating on reporters, told IFL: “Whatever they say is very unimportant to me because until I have a fight date and a hell of a lot of money in my pocket there is no fight.” / p>

“Will I be fighting Joshua in the next ten minutes? No do I think the fight will take place someday? Yes, this has to happen Do I think it’s next or imminent? No

“I’m not going to put all my eggs in one basket because I was guilty before If the fight doesn’t take place, I get into a massive depression and feel like I’m killing myself”

Fury hasn’t boxed since his brilliant rematch win in February 2020 against Deontay Wilder, which earned him the WBC title missing from Josua’s collection

The WBA, IBF, and WBO champions have teased fans with a big announcement soon – but Fury claims he traded triple workouts for beer marathons

With a straight face he said: “I have stopped training at the moment, I am on vacation

“I currently drink between eight, ten and twelve liters of lager a day

“I trained and trained and trained with no progress, so now I am a recreational man”

But he got into conflict with his promoters and broadcasters because of his pay and the level of the enemy that the fight was so embarrassing

The 6ft 9in undefeated ace, now out of a fight for over a year, is calling for two in the next nine months but has ruled out ever returning to the UK

After Wilder accused him of cheating in his grand coronation in Las Vegas, Fury ruled out a trilogy conflict, but 180 total, which is now back on the table

He said, “I’ve got two fights this year and I don’t give a shit if they’re with Joe Bloggs, Fred Flintstone, Mike Tyson or anyone”I just want to fight this year

“Next, don’t write Wilder out of the equation, I could still fight the trilogy with him

“The superstar of world boxing will no longer box in small halls. My new home is in Las Vegas

On the previous Thursday, Fury’s promoter – Frank Warren – announced that the Gypsy King had been “peed” with the lengthy AJ negotiations

Warren claimed: “Nobody is more frustrated than the fighters and us We worked like you can’t believe it getting this across the line”

“I think Tyson is a little upset because it keeps dragging on”

Warren continued, “What I can say is that everything is agreed, it’s an upcoming announcement and we have to work on a site and that’s it

“The contracts have been agreed and are 100 percent signed I am convinced of that ”
