Nottingham Forest extended their unbeaten run to four games when they came from behind to draw 1-1 at Stoke City
In a game with two halves, the visitors were much better after the break and could even have scored all three points
They had fallen behind in a truly disastrous way in 18 minutes when another individual mistake proved costly again
Brice Samba took a corner when he denied Sam Vokes from the box, but what followed was almost a comedy of mistakes
Lewis Grabban failed to clearly head the flag kick on the near post and the ball shot the Reds goalkeeper off the shin for a disastrous own goal
It’s been a year to forget Forest and they rarely looked like they were going to claw their way back into the game before break
Cyrus Christie put in a lot of crosses and won a number of corners, but Chris Hughton’s team got the most of it
Joe Worrall almost turned a house, but that was about as good as for the Reds
As the fog started rolling in the second half, Christie almost evoked a response out of nowhere, his efforts whistling just past the far post from a distance
A cross from Anthony Knockaert was diverted to 1: 1 by James Chester under pressure from Worrall
It was Forest who pushed for a winner in the closing stages Joe Lolley shot off a terrific cross from Lyle Taylor
But it was Cafu who really should have brought her forward on death if he’d come through clean after a sloppy back pass, however, he shot straight at Joe Bursik and it was even honored at bet365 stadium
We went to see how fans saw this, here’s what they made of it
Forest has a good spell right now, Lolley and Taylor have added a bit of sparks
The opening of 10 minutes in the second half is pretty much the same age, same age from Forest. Not much has changed
Fog is rolling in now Any chance to give this up for fog and start all over again ?? !!
Another Christie Cross Keeper spills it, but Cafu can’t be there in time for the follow-up
Stoke City versus nottm Forest, Nottingham Forest, Stoke City
