The 39-year-old singer is already the mother of two young boys – Bobby (six) and Cole (four) – with her husband, former boy band member Justin Scott

Walsh posted the happy update on Instagram, saying, “They say 3 is the magic number! It’s a strange time, but I’m really excited to share this great news with all of you! Me, Justin and them Guys are so excited to add another little munchkin to our crew “

She first revealed her pregnancy in an interview with OK! Magazine that tells the publication: “There was a bit of light in the distance and something to look at and look forward to and to plan”

Walsh said she was about 15 weeks pregnant at the time of the interview and announced that she and Justin had started looking for another baby during the lockdown and that it “happened pretty quickly”

She said her baby bump was showing up quickly since it was her third child, adding, “And I tend to have pretty large bumps”

She admitted that her boys were dying to know the baby’s gender and said she could find out during her 20-week scan

Walsh said that regardless of gender, the baby is likely to be her last child. She also said it is not just about adding a girl to her brood

At the time of the interview, Walsh said she told ex-Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl and Nicola Roberts about her pregnancy but didn’t see Sarah Harding or Nadine Coyle

Walsh said the girls were hoping to meet in person before Christmas, but tightened COVID-19 restrictions had forced them to abandon their plans

In August this year, 39-year-old Harding announced that she had been diagnosed with advanced breast cancer

She is currently undergoing chemotherapy to fight the disease that has spread to other parts of the body

After her diagnosis, she wrote her life story, which will be published in the new year

Earlier this year, Walsh starred alongside Jay McGuiness in the socially distant West End musical Sleepless, which is based on the hit Meg Ryan Romcom Sleepless In Seattle
