“Everyone at the club wishes all of our colleagues a speedy recovery before returning to work, training and competition”

Everton also released a statement and gave fans an update as 2000 fans were expected at Goodison Park

“Following a Premier League Board meeting this afternoon, Everton Football Club was informed that today’s game against Manchester City has been postponed for medical reasons as the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the Manchester City squad has risen is”explains

“Fans who have managed to obtain game cards through the club’s ballot for the game are advised not to travel to the stadium

“An alternate date and start time has yet to be set but will be confirmed on evertonfccom ASAP
