When considering the shorter run time, Paddy teased that the cast are already looking ahead to what the next series has to offer

“It had its struggles and that’s why we could only do four [episodes],” Paddy told MetrocoUnited Kingdom

“We’re already starting to watch the next series and we keep our fingers crossed, hopefully the restrictions will ease and we have a little bit more license Who knows, maybe we can even go abroad again”

He added, “It’s good to be back with the guys it’s a pleasure and we’ve found our move and keep trying to improve every series”

The Top Gear series 30 will welcome Paddy back together with co-hosts Chris Harris and Freddie Flintoff

Not only will the new series be canceled due to the pandemic, but for the first time in the show’s history it will also have no studio audience

The moderators recently confirmed that the “Star in a Budget Car” segment has been trimmed to make the show more COVID-safe
