The Haas Formula 1 team has announced a multi-year title partnership with the potash fertilizer manufacturer Uralkali

Although the financial terms were not disclosed, the sponsorship was discontinued during Haas’ auto launch on Jan. Announced March along with the team’s new red, white and blue livery

The American outfit will be renamed Uralkali Haas F1 Team, with the trademark of the Russian company featured on the car as part of the contract

Haas’ VF-21 with its new branding and paint job will be launched on Dec. March in Bahrain to be seen on the track for the first time

“We look forward to representing your brand throughout the season,” said Gene Haas, chairman of the team. “It’s an exciting time for the team with Uralkali on board and Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher for us drive

“It’s definitely a case of change but I hope we’re back in the mix to score some points in these races. It’s been a tough couple of seasons but we also have the bigger picture in mind, especially 2022 and the implementation of the new rules “

The new Formula 1 regulations, postponed from 2021 to 2022, aim to allow for closer, more exciting races with cheaper cars and improved aerodynamics
