“WandaVision” finally revealed what was going on with Evan Peters’ Pietro, and the answer is a huge disappointment
Fans have been curious about fake Pietro – Fietro, as Agatha Harkness called him – since his arrival at the end of episode five
Many hoped Peters’ character was the same Quicksilver the actor portrayed in the “X-Men” films They also hypothesized that he could be the comic book villain Mephisto or Nightmare
But in the final episode it was revealed that this Pietro is actually the mysterious Ralph Agatha had referred to as her husband all season, Ralph was never seen on the show, only mentioned by Agatha
His full name is Ralph Bohner and the explanation came early in the finale when fans learned he had Monica with him in Agatha’s attic. The two characters were last seen at the end of the seventh episode when he caught Monica trying to Investigate Agatha’s cellar
Fake Pietro called the attic his “man cave”, a place to chill out while the woman causes trouble “
Then Monica picked up a Westview bill from a nearby table and discovered that the house belonged to someone named Ralph Bohner, not Agatha. She picked up another newspaper that had a headshot of Peters’ character by the name Ralph Bohner contained
In the previous episode, Agatha alluded to manipulating fake Pietro with “crystalline possession” “In the finale, Monica grabbed him on the floor and absorbed the energy from Ralph’s necklace that controlled him
Ralph seemed torn from Agatha’s spell and asked Monica to save his life after she ripped the jewelry off his neck
When Jimmy met Monica Rambeau outside the hex, he said he “set up a witness on the street in Westview, and this morning it looked like he’d been blown out of the stable””
Then Jimmy said he had contacted known associates and relatives of the person and none of them had “ever heard of him” “
Jimmy never clarified who he was referring to at the moment, fans think Peters’ character may be the man who disappeared and that Ralph Bohner is a misnomer
Wanda and Vision’s twins, Billy and Tommy (known as Wiccan and Speed in the comics) battled Tyler Hayward and the SW.ÖRD. Agents in the finale During the scene, Tommy used his super speed to race past the agents
Tommy’s appearance and hat theft were reminiscent of what Peters looked like as Mercury during a scene in “X-Men: Days of the Future Past” “
Fans are still optimistic that the future of MCU will leave Peters room for a return, especially with Wanda Maximoff’s appearance in the upcoming sequel to Doctor Strange from The End -Credits scene of the finale
