Owensboro Catholic Schools of all grades will open on Jan. Personally taught again January 5, officials announced Thursday morning

“As we have been since the beginning of the personal lessons on August 26, we will continue to strictly enforce all protocols for safety in the school,” he said. “We are grateful for the support of our bishop, superintendent, and other key leaders involved in this have given challenging year directions and guidance ”

According to a press release, the Office of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Owensboro announced that face-to-face tuition would resume after the Christmas and New Year holidays.Each of the 17 Catholic schools in the diocese has been given the opportunity to return in person as early as January teach 4 so that officials can make an informed decision based on their individual community COVID-19 situation

“OCS has seamlessly switched to virtual teaching as needed, but we believe there is no substitute for face-to-face teaching,” Osborne said. “We will be closely monitoring the situation in our community and adapting as necessary. Officials at Daviess County Public Schools are still debating what to do and could wait until shortly after Christmas before making an announcement
