“Saturday Night Live” didn’t open up with politics to kick off the latest episode of the NBC variety show, but Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris still had her moment

Rudolph, the host of the “SNL” this week, who played Vice President several times, welcomed the guests to a Passover meal

She did so with her husband and second gentleman, Doug Emhoff, who was played by guest star Martin Short

“What better night to celebrate a fresh start than Passover?” Said Rudolphs Harris “That’s why it’s time for ‘A Kamala Harris Unity Seder'”

She then said that tonight, “we’re going to ask the four questions, ‘How is school?’ ‘Have you eaten?’ “When will you give me grandchildren?” And ‘What about the haircut?’ “

Rudolphs Harris then invited Short’s Emhoff, who said he was shy when he looked away from the camera

So Rudolph’s Harris told him to pretend it’s just her. Short’s Emhoff immediately hugged Rudolph’s Harris

The two swayed back and forth in the dim light as Short’s Emhoff whispered Rudolph’s Harris in his ear

The first guest at Seder was Sen Ted Cruz played Aidy Bryant The Fake Senator was so lucky to be there that he brought cupcakes and pigs to eat in a blanket

Then the Seder’s greatest guest appeared: President Joe Biden, played by Alex Moffat. He beamed from his press conference this week

“Hey, did you hear my press conference? It was so easy,” said Moffats Biden. Then he read some notes from index cards to make himself understood over dinner

After a moment, Moffats reminded Biden Kamala Harris that he was blaming her at the Mexican border

“Thanks for the opportunity. Such a fun solvable problem,” said Harris of Rudolph. “And what are you responsible for?”
