The province announced Tuesday that it is expanding eligibility for parents with young students to receive a benefit payment

The Ontario Support for Learners Benefit is now accepting applications for children enrolled in high school, Education Secretary Stephen Lecce said Tuesday

We are providing direct financial support to parents of elementary school children and now high school children to help them overcome this pandemic

Previously, the benefit was only valid for children aged 12 and under. Relatives aged 21 and under with special needs are entitled to USD 250

Today’s announcement means parents can apply for $ 200 for every child they enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school, or any dependent child up to age 21 with special needs

Applications for secondary school students will be accepted on Nov. January opened and the application deadline is 8 February 2021
