After BEES is out, I’ll be writing Book 10 (no title yet), the final book in the OUTLANDER line of key novels focused on Jamie and Claire Book 10 is going to be another great novel, so it will take some time (at least a few years) to finish And I have plans for several projects after Book 10

Gabaldon originally stated that Go Tell the Bees I’m Gone would be released in 2020, but it didn’t. She stated that the book “would be ready soon,” but it took a little longer than that she originally expected

“As my husband often says, ‘To a writer, Done is a relative term,’ And it really is, ‘she tweeted.” It’s Done – we’ll type in the ending – but then read through and again find things to add or remove, and so on “And that doesn’t even take into account how the ongoing coronavirus crisis will affect the publishing industry and possibly Bees’ release date””

Although Go Go the Bees that I’m gone has no release date yet, Gabaldon summed up the entire book in one word: “Responsibility”
