The end is in sight for West Aussies as Prime Minister Mark McGowan will be in front of the cameras tonight to unveil the government’s transition plan

The prime minister is expected to announce the stay-at-home orders triggered by a hotel quarantine guard, which will end at 6 p.m. Friday after the state recorded a fourth straight day with zero new locally acquired cases

Mr McGowan pointed out today that life would not go back to normal immediately and said: “It will be a little longer before things are back to what we are used to”

He also urged Western Australians to download the SafeWA app, a valuable tool for contact tracers, and urged those who feel uncomfortable to continue to sign up for COVID-19 testing

Mr. McGowan will be speaking at 8:40 p.m., subject to change. You can see in the video player above
