A member of the popular vocal group Human Nature was forced into isolation in Queensland because of fears of COVID

Toby Allen should be on the 18th Stand on stage with group members Andrew Tierney, Mike Tierney and Phil Burton on December 12th in Brisbane – but had to isolate himself after discovering he was “in close proximity” to a possible virus case

“On Wednesday the 16th December, Toby Allen of Human Nature independently of the group and their tour group traveled from Sydney to Brisbane on a Virgin Airlines (VA 925) flight, “read a statement posted online

“Queensland Health alerted passengers traveling on VA Flight 925 who were in close proximity to an identified passenger of possible exposure to COVID-19 and instructed those travelers to contact themselves from Wednesday, April 16, 2010 December, self-isolating for 14 days

“As a result, Toby is now in hotel isolation in Brisbane and is under the supervision of the Queensland Health Authority until further notice”

The statement confirmed that the rest of the group had traveled from Sydney to Brisbane on Thursday evening

“Queensland Health has announced that remaining band members and any crew members who have come into contact with Toby Allen are considered contacts of close contact and do not currently need to be quarantined or tested,” the statement continues >

The group made it clear that all remaining shows – including those in Queensland and Canberra – would continue as planned, with the other Human Nature members performing without everyone
