After weeks of speculation, it was finally revealed which celebrities will be competing on Iâ € ™ ma Celeb this year in the Australian bush

I’m a celebrity this year Get me out of here! The candidates have finally been announced

After weeks of cryptic clues from Channel 10, nine stars were shown at the campsite during the premiere on Sunday evening (some of the stars clumsily didn’t recognize the other celebs … more on that later)

This year’s line-up consists of a Gold Logie winner, an Australian Got Talent winner, several comedians and a former soap star

Channel 10 has also been annoyed that a few more celebrity intruders will be attending the show later this week

We could do a full recap of the episode (there was skydiving, sausage on face, tears) but let’s face it, the only thing you want to know is who is on the show this year so here they are

He rose to fame as a Sunrise weather presenter and later hosted Family Feud, Australia’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and a slew of other TV shows

The talented singer was only 14 years old when he won Australia’s Got Talent in 2011. He struggled with the pressures of fame in the years that followed and disappeared completely from the spotlight

But he made a showbiz comeback in 2019 when he appeared on The Voice. He also took part in America’s Got Talent: The Champions last year

Paulini made it into the last four in the first season of Australian Idol in 2003 and has appeared in a number of musicals in recent years, including The Bodyguard Musical, Saturday Night Fever, and Hair

Pearen first hit Australian screens on E-Street in 1989. After a brief hiatus to continue her music career, Pearen starred in Home And Away, JAG and A Country Practice

Pearen hosted Australia’s funniest home video show for four years and took part in Dancing With The Stars in 2008

In her early music career, she was twice featured in the ARIA Top 10 Charts with her singles In Your Room and I Want You Both received the gold certification

She narrowly missed receiving Matt Agnew’s final rose for The Bachelor in 2019 and later appeared on Bachelor In Paradise

Varcoe, 32, is a former AFL star who played for Geelong and Collingwood. He retired last year after a 15-year AFL career and has two premierships to his name

The comedian has had a long and varied showbiz career so far. Before that, he was part of the Hughesy & Kate radio show when the duo hosted the breakfast show in Nova Melbourne

He later tried his luck in Hollywood and played small roles in films like Anger Management and The Exes before returning to Australia

He has since appeared on television shows such as Neighbors and Kinne Tonight. Ash is also a hugely successful podcaster and can be heard on TEAM Effort (with Ed Kavalee and Tony Martin) and The Ash Williams Show

Jess co-hosted a radio show on the Sunshine Coast for years, but achieved a national profile in 2018 when she was cast on The Block

Mel is a comedian who not only plays stand-up but is also an extremely talented comedy writer, with credits like Please Like Me and The Drum

Mel is also known as co-hosting The Great Australian Bake Off alongside Claire Hooper

One of the most entertaining parts of the first few episodes of I’m a Celebrity Every Year is when the celebs don’t recognize the other celebs

Abbie Chatfield had no idea who Ash Williams was, but the comedian got quick revenge when he said to her, “You don’t work here? You are a candidate?”

He knew EXACTLY who she was and just seconds later he revealed that he was actually trying to “slip into her DMs” after she appeared on The Bachelor

“I think you saw it,” he said to her over the insta message “It said” seen “but it’s ok”

The wonderful moments when the “celebrities” have no idea who each other are hahaha #ImACelebrityAU

I know with Jess people will say “???? who?” ???? but it is actually good value for money #ImACelebrityAu

The show was recorded in late 2020 and filmed in Australia (at a location near Murwillumbah in NSW) instead of South Africa due to the pandemic

I am a celebrity Get me out of here continues on channel 10 at 7:30 p.m. Monday night
