Brisbane Broncos new coach Kevin Walters stormed out of a press conference today after questions were asked about star striker Payne Haas’ recent off-field at the Theater

Haas, 21, was found born after an incident in Tweed Heads, northern New South Wales, on Jan. Arrested January 1st and charged with abusive language and police intimidation After appearing in court on Thursday, he avoided conviction but was given a two-year bond of good conduct

Walters, who was at a press conference for next week’s All Stars boxing event in Townsville today, spoke to reporters where he was asked about Haas’ recent incident

“I think we’ll stick with what we’re talking about, I’ll leave that alone,” he told reporters

Walters was then told by a reporter that he could not “avoid” talking about the incident before again refusing to bring the media out about the situation with Haas

“We’re not here to talk about any of these things. We’re here to talk about boxing”

Then Walters asked if he was disappointed with the NSW Blues star and replied, “The boxing is great, it’s going to be a fun night. I won’t be able to go to Townsville, but it will be nice to do it from home to see “

Reporters then asked the Broncos trainer about the future of hooker Andrew McCullough’s future, who has been linked with a move to the Dragons

The question of McCullough’s future seemed to be the last straw that made the decision to leave
