I’m a Celebrity is back and when the new cast of’ Celebs’ is revealed in the first episode – including Grant Denyer and Toni Pearen – Abbie Chatfield provided the most epic answer to something comedian Ash Williams did said to her on the first episode of the reality show

It happens to the best of us – they’re watching the first episode of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! with a confused look on our faces as we try (and fail) to identify who one of the “celebrities” is

But something funny happened at the premiere of this year’s new-look reality show when the audience was introduced to the cast – including Grant Denyer and Toni Pearen (but more on that below) – there was a rather uncomfortable exchange between the Candidate Abbie Chatfield and Ash Williams

Comedian Ash revealed to former undergraduate babe Abbie that he was hot for her before stepping into the Australian jungle and sent her a direct message on social media with a rather disappointing response

A little shocked Abiie replied: “Oh was it something shameful? I often get pictures when I get DM”

“The wonderful moments when the ‘celebrities’ have no idea who they are, hahahah,” wrote one fan

With Abbie and Ash in the Australian outback this year, some names are known

Mel Buttle, co-host of Great Australian Bake Off, and flashback actress and singer Toni Pearen were the first names to break out in the series of star former member Jess Eva and AFL star Travis Varcoe will also be eating some strange food on the show

Singers Paulini Curuenavuli and Jack Vidgen will no doubt provide great entertainment, and Gold Logie winner Grant Denyer will have loads of laughter for the audience and for us at home

As with many other Australian reality TV shows, travel restrictions for COVID-19 forced some changes to the filming of I’m a Celeb’s sixth season last year, it was announced that the show would be more in the Australian outback than the usual South African Jungle is rotated

While it’s unclear whether overseas celebs will be part of our local crew, we do know the show was taped at a location near Murwillumbah, NSW later in 2020 So don’t analyze recent comments on social media – the celebrities are already out of hiding!

As usual, the stars compete for a chance to raise money for their chosen charity, with the winner receiving a wholesome payout of 100$ 000 for the charity of your choice
