UFC fighter Casey Kenney was forced to apologize after being convicted of making a “humiliating” comment on Australian fighter Megan Anderson
While speaking on a podcast, Kenney was kidding by Anderson for responding to a question from the hosts about whether he would have sex with her
“She’s not going to well I mean when it comes down to it, and it was like 5 a.m., 4 a.m., she’s 5 a.m., 4 a.m. Just the two of us hanging out like ‘F – k it, let’s do it’ ”
The Australian was not overly friendly with Kenney’s response and expressed her disapproval on her personal Twitter account She also lamented the fact that the couple would share a card in UFC 259, where Anderson will face Amanda Nunes in the co-main event
“I think MMA is a piece of work where you can speak publicly about whether or not you are having sex with a coworker in an extremely degrading manner and not facing consequences,” Anderson tweeted
“I just answered a question and thought it was all a joke I see I was wrong and I’m sorry Good luck with the training camp and your fight”
