Adelaide student and social entrepreneur Isobel Marshall was named Young Australian of the Year in 2021
Ms. Marshall is co-founder of the historic product company TABOO, which donates all profits to a charity that helps women in Sierra Leone and Uganda gain education
TABOO works with the women’s crisis center of St Vincent de Paul Society to provide free pads and tampons to women in need of emergency shelter in South Australia
It also works with the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women’s Council in South Africa, Western Australia and the Northern Territory
Ms. Marshall, a medical and surgery student, started TABOO in 2019 with friend Eloise Hall after she was 56Raised $ 000 through crowdfunding
