TWO of the greatest players in snooker history performed this week in January 2006 at the Wellsprings Leisure Center in Taunton to a sold-out audience of 900 people

Former world champions Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis attended the exhibition event organized by Dymond Promotions Ltd and paid £ 1100 raised for the British Institute for Brain Injured Children

Hendry (the world champion of 1990, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1999) defeated Davis (champions of 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1988 and 1989) in their challenge game by a narrow 4-3 advantage the local amateur champion Andy Sheehan

Davis rounded off the evening by entertaining the large crowd with a trick-shot session
