The Capital FM host had detailed plans for his latest routine with co-host Roman Kemp after the remaining celebrities of the ITV skating competition were asked to perform a routine that means something to them personally

Sonny, 27, further announced that he will skate in the semifinals to a song that will be played at Joe’s funeral

“I made the decision to skate for producer Joe,” he told Roman on the Capital FM Breakfast Show

“If you’ve heard the show for the past few years, everyone will know who producer Joe is

‘Unfortunately we lost him last year and I decided to skate to a track that was played at his funeral So it will be a very personal one and it will mean a lot “

“Buddy, he’d laugh so hard at that silly outfit that I hope you’re wearing it

“I know for sure, and you know that Joe would be so proud of you if he knew you did and I bet he does and I know he does, the one thing I’m going to do”Let’s say his family will be watching, so it will do justice”

Sonny joked back, “I know I’ve never fallen on the ice during a performance before, but I know if I do fall it will be on this one”

The show lasts two hours and ends at 8 p.m. if another couple is canceled

The couples will perform two 90-second routines as they battle for a spot in next week’s rescheduled finals
