On 3 November 2020, Neste announced that it would take over the Bunge Loders Croklaan refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.The refinery is located next to the existing Neste biorefinery and consists of a pre-treatment plant, a tank farm, piers and a pipeline connection to the Neste site The acquisition was approved by regulators and the transaction was closed on Jan.
