Fifteen-time Grammy-winning rapper Eminem released a new surprise album on Thursday night called “Music to Be Murdered By,” an addition to his 11th birthday Studio album that features 16 new songs, including a track titled “Zeus,” in which the rapper apologizes to Rihanna for his controversial lyrics about Chris Brown which leaked in 2019

The new lyrics read, “But I, as long as I promise to be honest / And I apologize with all my heart Rihanna,” he raps, “For the song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri / It should Don’t worry you Anyway, I was wrong “

In 2019, an unpublished verse was released by Eminem in which the Detroit rapper said, “Of course, I’m on Chris Brown’s side / I’d hit a b **** too”” Eminem was referring to the attack found guilty by Chris Brown following the 2009 altercation between then-girlfriend Rihanna Brown was sentenced to five years probation and community service

Eminem’s words caught the attention of fans as Rihanna and Eminem have worked together on many projects over the years and are the No. 1 received 1 place on the Billboard Rap Singles Chart in 2010 for their song “Love the Way You Lie” “The two were also touring mates after completing their Monster Tour in 2014

Eminem covers a variety of other topics throughout his album, from the coronavirus pandemic to the Black Lives Matter movement, the lyricist also mentions former NFL star quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick, as well as convicted sex offenders Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby and the accused sex offender R Kelly
