Original series stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress are expected to appear in the new version of the series Jay Kogen and Ali Schouten have committed to developing the new version of the series

The original “iCarly” ran on Nickelodeon for six seasons and 97 episodes from 2007 to 2012, following a group of best friends who webcast as they grappled with everyday problems and adventures during the original run, the show turned out to be incredibly popular and broke rating records for Nickelodeon

The move to program the series on Paramount Plus instead of Nickelodeon is no surprise as all major media companies are rushing to expand their streaming offerings. Other shows that were set up at the streamer included the spy drama “Lioness” by Oscar winner Taylor Sheridan and a restart of the music documentaries “Behind the Music” and a script drama about the making of “The Godfather” ”

With the rebranding and addition of library shows from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, and more content from the Paramount Pictures vault, Paramount Plus will grow up to 30BET, Comedy Central and other ViacomCBS imprints will also produce original series for Paramount Plus
