The infection is believed to have been acquired overseas as part of the recently stepped-up follow-up on Jan. Day detected for people who were in hotel quarantine

NSW Health has issued warnings for a number of locations the person visited in Wollongong and southeast Sydney after exiting quarantine and before returning the positive test result

Anyone who has visited the following venues has been instructed to get tested immediately and to self-isolate until further advice from NSW Health:
