Belgian cyclist Tara Gins has made impressive claims that she was denied a management job on a professional men’s team based on nude photos

The 30-year-old star posed for Playboy last year and was also featured in a nude calendar

But Gins says she was shown the door without further ado after she agreed to work as director for an unnamed men’s team

“I was really looking forward to it. I would like to do it. I would like to study and be in the support vehicle

“I don’t want to work with people who don’t see my abilities and just go for a walk with the herd. There’s still too much thought on cycling. It’s a shame”

In addition to the nude photos, she often publishes risky snapshots on her Instagram page

“[The team leader] started the conversation by saying that he broke off the commitment we had because someone on the team, an employee, came across pictures of me,” claimed Gins

“This person sent the pictures to the other employees in a group chat. Apparently it was a chat that I wasn’t involved in

“Somebody must have threatened the manager to send these images to one of the sponsors because that person knows how they relate to the sponsor

“In May last year I did a photo shoot for Playboy and two months later I did another photo shoot for a calendar for a Belgian company

“These calendars are only sent to their corporate clients, so you can’t find the pictures online. You can only see the pictures if you work for the company

“This calendar was released the first week of January, and I suspect it was the images in the calendar”

“Apparently these are now too inadequate to work with drivers. Apparently a photo is more important than skills or experience,” she added

“In all the years I’ve been racing, I’ve seen so many negative things with team leaders or soigneurs

“And then they are taken back, so to speak, by the idiots who have double standards Apparently as a man you can do a little more in the world”
