Cowboys star Kyle Feldt could be hired for a break on the sidelines after being reported for a crunchy duel with dragon star Jack Vogel

Shortly before the halftime of the 25:18 victory of the Dragons against the Cowboys, Feldt put Bird one on one and folded it with a sensational hit

That drowned the crowd at Country Bank Stadium when both sides were on fire after the challenge

But much to the horror of the Queenslanders, Feldt has been reported for a dangerous litter and will be awaiting the MRC’s verdict

“It was a great attack and it only goes slightly wrong in a millisecond,” said Michael Ennis at Fox Sports

“The collision was great. At full speed it was just a good technical device, but it only went over the horizontal and Jack Bird’s head landed on the ground

“He’s probably in an argument, but I don’t think there’s intent on purpose”

Kangaroo trainer Mal Meninga admitted that he was a fan of Feldt’s “old school” but admitted that it was not acceptable in the modern game

“I’m old school and it used to be a really good front, but sadly not today,” said Meninga

“He’s in trouble and will be banned from some games, but we can minimize it”

“I mean Jack Bird wasn’t injured, he just jumped up again. He’s going to get in trouble, but hopefully it’s minimal”

Feldt also set Bird up for a second major hit in the game’s final moments, which was overboard
